Yep LCD. What do you use? I might try to make my wallpapers either 1600x1200 or 1280x960 so it fits more monitors I suppose if that helps.

i use a crap 17" CRT flat, max res of 1280x960 @ 60Hz. 60Hz just "hertz" so i use 1024 @ 85Hz for desktop, and can't really game higher then 800x600 with this 9600-pro trash.

Ive got a 9600 PRO and I'm not having any problems with it... maybe its your CPU?
